So we had our 11 week check up a little bit ago. The doc tried to get a heartbeat sound from Posey Jr., but he/she wasn't cooperating, so she did another ultrasound! John came to this appointment, and we both were able to see our little one looking more like a person (less like a peanut) and even squirming around! Posey Jr. did give us a little wave, letting us know it's all good inside and he/she is still working on growing. Mommy's tummy is growing little by little. Still just using a rubber band to hold the buttons closed on her pants, but still able to zip them! Nausea is begining to subside, and energy is returning! Maybe this rumor of a breezy 2nd trimester isn't a myth after all!
