Christmas

We had a quiet Christmas this year.  John had to work the night shift on Christmas Eve, leaving me home with the zoo.  I spent the evening watching "It's a Wonderful Life" and "Santa Clause the Movie."  Upon waking up Christmas morn, I made myself a bowl of cereal before taking the dogs out for a morning walk. Sunny and 40 degrees, it was quite nice.  John woke up when we got home, and we opened gifts.  John must have been incredibly good this year, receiving a new 160G iPod and Bose noise cancelling headphones.  He bought us a Kinect for the XBox, and got me the Lego Harry Potter game I've been wanting for my Nintendo DS.  I also got a Bronco's t-shirt (too small to wear in my current state), Bronco socks, and various wine-related items.  From my side of the family, John got 118 piece set of Craftsman tools, and I got a "built in" sun shade for my car (I've been eyeing the one my sister and brother-in-law have for a few years).   The dogs got new toys to replace broken ones: a new tug ball and rope toy, along with some chewy sticks.  We had to put the chewy sticks up to get them to notice the new toys!  The cats got a few new string toys, but have been too sleepy today to play.
After opening gifts, we FaceTimed with John's parents.  Momma Posey got an iPad 2 for Christmas, which will allow her to watch her grandson grow up, without having to spend thousands on airline tickets and hotels.  While I failed to take too many photos today, I did get the before and after shots of our living room.
