It's a cliche saying, but I can't help it. It's hard to believe it's been a month already! Austin has changed SO much in just a month. He has grown significantly from 6 lbs, 12 oz, to 10 lbs, 12 oz, putting him in the 80th percentile for weight. He has only grown 1/2 an inch, at 21 1/2 inches, putting him in the 60th percentile for height. The doctor says he's a healthy, growing boy. Despite all this growing, he still fits into newborn size clothes, and has inherited some pretty adorable outfits from his cousins and friends! He has decided to develop colic, much to Mommy and Daddy's dismay. We have gotten better at calming him, and at avoiding the bloodcurdling screaming that just rips our hearts out.
Now that Austin has chunked up a bit, he fits into his cloth diapers. He looks adorable in the bright colors, even if his behind has tripled in size! Mommy and Daddy are having no troubles with the switch, and laundry isn't too bad (so far!). I'll keep you posted on our adventure in cloth diapers.
Since no blog post is complete without pictures, here are Austin's 1 month photos I took. After spending the entire morning crying and screaming, he finally wore himself out, and slept through nearly his entire photo shoot.
That's our cutie. :-D Love you Austin... and stop growing so fast so I can hold you while you're still LITTLE!!
